An alternative to our Compact GP, this model has wider, flatter seat and will suit you if you like the feel of ‘more room’ in the seat or are slightly wider in the hips.

  • An alternative seat shape to the Compact GP which makes it a viable option for those who find the neat, compact seat doesn’t suit them.
  • Two panel options: Standard-wither for horses with a medium wither profile, or high-wither gusset option.
  • A generous panel with a good bearing surface, and wide channel for spine clearance.
  • Velcro knee blocks under the flap can be positioned to suit your leg length and position.
  • Ghosted stitching on the knee pad helps it contour neatly around the block for added comfort.
  • Four girthing arrangements allow saddle stability to be optimised instantly
Girthing Information

All Kent & Masters GP Saddles are fitted with three girth straps (billets), the third one being moveable.
This flexible girthing arrangement allows saddle stability to be optimised instantly.

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Neutral

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billets. (NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Point and Third

If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use the point (front) strap and the third position

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Floating Balance

If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, move the third strap onto the floating balance position and use the second and fourth position.

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - First and Fourth

If the saddle tends to move forward and lift at the back, use the first and fourth positions

DO NOT girth using the first and second straps
Moveable Knee & Calf Block
This saddle features a Velcro knee block that can be adjusted to suit the leg support your need. If you prefer to ride with shorter stirrups, or have short legs, position the knee block higher up.
