Girthing Information

All Kent & Masters GP Saddles are fitted with three girth straps (billets), the third one being moveable.
This flexible girthing arrangement allows saddle stability to be optimised instantly.

Kent and Masters GPD Saddle Girthing - Neutral

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billets. (NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)

Kent and Masters GPD Saddle Girthing - Point and Third

If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use the point (front) strap and the third position

Kent and Masters GPD Saddle Girthing - Floating Balance

If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, move the third strap onto the floating balance position and use the second and fourth position.

Kent and Masters GPD Saddle Girthing - First and Fourth

If the saddle tends to move forward and lift at the back, use the first and fourth positions

Kent and Masters GPD Saddle Girthing - Do NOT

DO NOT girth using the first and second straps
