Kent & Masters S-Series 16½" GP
This super versatile saddle will suit older children on bigger ponies, leggy teenagers and petite adults riding small horses. Previously the 16½" Pony Long Leg, but now upgraded to the S-Series 16½" collection, this smart little saddle benefits from a hide-covered seat and skirt, plus knee and calf pads to add that touch of luxury and style.
This saddle is available in one panel profile (standard) but thanks to the SimaTree S-Bar and wool flocking it can be adjusted by a saddle fitter to suit low wither and standard wither fits.
- The flaps on this saddle are more forward cut, and also longer, to accommodate the longer leg of a taller child or small adult. There’s also the addition of a Velcro calf block and calf pad on the flap to support the leg position when the stirrups are shorter for jumping.
- Velcro knee and calf blocks under the flap can be positioned to suit leg length and position.
- Five girthing options allow saddle stability to be optimised instantly on a variety of conformations (see girthing information below)
- This saddle takes the SimaTree S-Bar and so is suitable for small horses and ponies with a medium or low wither. A saddle fitter can usually achieve a good fit on a variety of conformations, thanks to the open-headed tree and versatile panel design which is flocked with English wool.

Changeable gullet bar
A changeable gullet bar allows you or your saddle fitter to modify the width of the saddle’s gullet to suit the horse’s wither profile as the horse changes shape with either exercise, muscle development, maturity or rest. There are 8 options in the short S-bar and 7 in the long R-bar.
100% British wool flocking
Wool is a natural fibre and provides superior softness and comfort for the horse because it moulds and settles quickly, giving optimum panel contact with the horse’s back. Two reinforced flocking slots make it easy for your saddle fitter to do any necessary adjustments to fit on-site
