Changeable Gullet 'S' Bar

Built on a square cantled low head tree the saddle provides a more generous seat and panel. Designed for a stable low profile fit for the cob, Connie and more flat backed types.

  • The seat is shaped to provide a feeling of closeness that’s often difficult to achieve with this conformation.
  • A slimline panel gives extra-close contact and stability
  • Velcro knee and calf blocks under the flap which can be positioned to suit your leg length and position.
  • Four girthing options to improve stability on even the widest of horses or those with big movement.
Girthing Information

All Kent & Masters GP Saddles are fitted with three girth straps (billets), the third one being moveable.
This flexible girthing arrangement allows saddle stability to be optimised instantly.

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Neutral

Begin by girthing in the neutral position using the second and third billets. (NOTE: This is the same as girthing on the first and third billets on a saddle with a conventional girthing system)

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Point and Third

If you find the saddle slips forward, you can use the point (front) strap and the third position

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Floating Balance

If the back of the saddle lifts away from the horse’s back, move the third strap onto the floating balance position and use the second and fourth position.

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - First and Fourth

If the saddle tends to move forward and lift at the back, use the first and fourth positions

Kent and Masters GP Saddle Girthing - Do NOT

DO NOT girth using the first and second straps
Moveable Knee Block
This saddle features a Velcro knee block that can be adjusted to suit the leg support your need. If you prefer to ride with shorter stirrups, or have short legs, position the knee block higher up.
